Our Florida Heroes Mortgage Program is designed to provide down payment assistance in the form of a grant equal to a maximum of 3.5% of the purchase price for eligible the hero. This Down Payment Assistance is offered by a governmental entity and may be used with our FHA Program or our FHA Renovation Program.

Who’s eligible for our Florida Heroes Mortgage Program?

In addition to helping first-time and moderate-income home buyers, our Florida Heroes Mortgage Program is available to make life easier for those eligible clients who make our lives easier.

This includes clients who are current, retired, volunteer, non-paid, or plan to become:

  • First-Responders – Police Officers, Firefighters, Public Safety Officers, Paramedics, Troopers, Correctional Officers, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), including volunteers, or similar
  • Educators – Teachers, Coaches, Principals, or similar
  • Medical Personnel – Nurses, Doctors, Phlebotomists, Technicians, or hospital, American Red Cross worker, or similar
  • Civil servant in a federal, state, or local municipality
  • Military Personnel

* Our Heros Program cannot be used in conjunction with other grant programs or combined with other incentives. Eligible for purchase of primary residence only. This is a temporary offer and is subject to grant availability; the grant credit is not associated to the interest rate client pays. Limitations apply to the credit amount based on loan amount.
